The kiss!

Spent all bloody  in Oban listening to bloody morose  Gaelic songs as the choir is going mad practicing for the National Mod. I only got a glimpse of sun on the way home & grabbed the above shot.


If this were a Gael writing a love song it would be something like

Just one last  parting  kiss my dear
Before we  die together & jump  off the pier!

The Glaswegian in me would want to write

Gie's a kiss for a laugh
Dare you tae jump
Taaps aaff


Such subtle differences between the Gael & the Lowlander!
