Ten peas worth

Nobody (apart from my son and daughter) will be able to make any sense of this. However...........I spotted a lady who used to run the post office in the village. Not so much a post office, rather porta cabin which sold stamps! However she also sold sweets and sometimes after school we would call in and I would tell the children they could have ten pees worth of the penny sweets. My son managed to 'stretch' ten pees worth to fill a whole bag!

However that was probably 15 years ago and I still bump into this lady from time to time. I make my daughter laugh when tell her I saw Roma! Not sure what made me take a picture of her to text my daughter - hope she didn't see me. Strange times - happy times.
