Another full day of floor laying.  This is the final layer though!  There were a few fiddly bits and we made a couple of mistakes due to tiredness, but we got there in the end and if I may say so did a bloody good job!  So happy with our new floor.  Previously, we had craggy old slate tiles with super grotty grout, now we have a lovely flat slate effect laminate floor.  Seems a shame to get rid of the natural slate, but it was so lumpy and bumpy I honestly couldn't wait to get rid of it!

We had a brunchy type dinner of eggs, veggie sausages, beans and mushrooms this evening  - it was the most taxing level of cooking we could manage!
