Lathkill Dale
It was a beautiful Autumn day today so we headed into the Peak District limestone dales for a walk from Youlgrave over to Haddon then back along the rivers Lathkill and Bradford. Plenty of wildlife along the way including a dipper after all it is one of the hotspots for them.
I liked the well-heeled scarecrow along the way.
Of course we were back to settle in front of the tv for the finale of the Ryder Cup. What absolutely incredible golf has been played but I'm resigned to a USA victory as it slips away from the Europeans. We needed the Americans to have an off day but instead birdies are going in from everywhere and the crowd are rejoicing disgracefully. Well doneTeam USA, better on all 3 days.
