Pencil cactus in desert rain

Glorious downpour of a rain this early this morning and later, still might rain again.  In the desert you really do stand and take notice. 

See extra for full photo of my pencil cactus that I am so proud of.  However, it's so large I have to get a much larger pot and have a landscaper friend re-pot it for me.  Would love to put it in my courtyard but it would take it over in no time.
