We got there In the end.

We finally have a working sink in the downstairs toilet however not everything has gone to plan.
1) The taps we had got weren't quite right so Stu and Dad had to go out looking for parts.
2) Stu started putting the floorboards back down on the landing and while he was doing this he almost cut through an electrical cable (nothing a bit of insulation tape couldn't fix though).
3) when Dad was trying the put the waste pipe in for the sink he actually did drill though the hot water pipe! This meant he had to cut away part of the wood for the stud wall and modify the pipes. It doesn't look the neatest but it won't be seen and It could have been a lot worse.
I have mainly picked things up from shops that Dad needed and supervised to make sure no more disasters took place. I did also manage to paint the ceiling and one wall in the longe with watered down paint.
This evening we have finally ordered our cooker!
