And out she comes!

A busy day bringing the boat ashore for the winter.  Mike and I put the trolley onto the slip at low water so that he could then get Peridot onto it at high water.  Vincent then came and with his four wheel drive towed the boat and trolley to the top of the slip.  We took the sails, booms, masts, engine, anchor, etc off her and then went and got the trailer,  see yesterday's blip, winched the trolley and boat onto it and towed it over to the shed.  

This was an all day operation but the sun shined, there were breaks for coffee and dog walks, there was not a breath of wind and, apart from a few hassles, it all went relatively smoothly.  It was damned hard work though and I'm glad we don't have to do it very often, but we are getting better at it!  The dogs enjoyed themselves too - Ollie in the sea, Scratch in the sun!

No surprise that Mike fell asleep during Match of the Day!  A day of rest tomorrow!
