A walk on trail 1144

We got up into the national forest today for a walk along a trail that we have never walked.  It started out uphill but then leveled off into a beautiful valley with small ponds and of course, many aspens.    This is the first pond.

The hubby and dog always get way ahead of me..I have to stop too many times to take photos.   But he also finds a convenient rock or down tree to sit on and wait for me to catch up!

The weather has been wonderful here but I think this week we are jumping into winter temperatures, below freezing at night and much cooler days.  And possibly some snow later in the week!
