Surreal

Recovered (Slightly) from jet lag overnight. I awoke to this view, overlooking an ocean very far away from home. This quaint A-frame house was between us and the beach at Ponte Vedra ( I think) and when I walked along the path to the beach I was met by a view of fishermen on the beach, chatting sociably. As I sat on the beach, it was a surreal moment for me, knowing that I was looking out towards South Africa (kind of) and that Australia was such a long way away. I feel so very privileged to be here!
