Halfway to home...

...from another mushroom hunting jaunt. We were initially picking up a peony root, ordered way back in the summer while visiting a farm near Rainier. I guess fall is the time to dig, divide and plant peonies. Then we were already almost to the mushroom woods, so why not come home that way? More success this time then the last. I will dry the chanterelles  for the winter.
