1940s Weekend

Holme is a village not far from my home , every year the 1940s weekend is held but this is my first visit. What a fantastic time , the whole village is turned into the era of years gone by . Dancing , singers, reinactments, memorabilia , hairstyles, dress , stalls and food. All the money that is raised stays within the village for different charities close to their hearts. It also has a huge house (estate) called Holmewood Hall that you can go inside to look around . A brilliant time had .
