It's all about the flowers.....

.....At this time of year.

We went out in between showers today - blustery windy, with the result that one minute you can get blue skies and sunshine, and the next it's dark black clouds, a howling gale, and driving rain.

I'm reasonably sure that this particular eucalypt is not a local, but it's gorgeous.  Massive lemon yellow flowers against a steely blue foliage.  I'd love one in my own garden.

Now that's a plan - I might check it out at State Flora next time I am up there.

It's the Rower's 1500 Blipday today - we might celebrate with a glass of wine tonight.
