Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland

We drove up the coast with our friends and spent a very pleasant morning on the beach at Bamburgh walking their dog and catching up with them.  Then to lunch in the village which was delicious.

From here we drove to Alnwick and had a look around Barter Books a second hand book store which is situated in the old railway station.  Then to Grannies for tea and cake.  Back to their home for more food and drink.
