Farewell Hazel

Today was our Macmillan charity bake sale - Tarryn - one of the young lawyers in my department lost her mum two years ago and with Tarryn being a pretty good baker it's a great way for us to fundraiser. We made 350 which the company doubles up. Great result.

Also was Hazel, my manager, final day. I've worked with Hazel for 18 years and was really sad to see her leave, although she is also a friend and will see her outside work, will miss her so much. Having battled chronic insomnia for as long as I can remember, and with her averaging two hours sleep a night while holding down a high powered job, it was a no brainier - health has to come first.

We had a nice presentation and a few drinks but having a proper night out on 21 October for her leaving.
