October ... Breast Cancer Awareness Month ... Pink is the color for the commitment with all those women who (have to) face this terrible disease.

The picture is made of a portrait in clay. I modeled the lady some years ago in the studio of the Art Academy at the East Harbor Quay in Vlaardingen city. It was meant as a portrait in baked clay for decoration in the back yard. It's also my contribution for mono Monday #141. Speaking about "roots" then I think of the keywords 'October', 'pink color', 'breast cancer awareness' in relation to the theme.
