Did an hour's pruning of large shrub before meeting with my friend for very pleasant lunch and chat in this local pub. Being a Monday it was extremely quiet. I think Monday's are becoming extinct, most hairdressers close, some restaurants don't open and a few years ago National Trust properties closed on Mondays, I'm not sure if this is still the case. Statistics would have us believe a good % of workers take Mondays off. Perhaps we should start the week on Tuesday, then we can do away with "the Monday feeling".
