On the Mesa

Back on the Way again after a good rest in Burgos over the weekend, only a 20k wander today but up and onto the mesa outside the city and surrounding today's destination of Hornillos del Camino.

We're now into the bit of the way that is quite widely described as quite flat or featureless, with the small villages in between long stages the only things around. While that may be true, you do also start to get an idea of the massive geography that the journey covers - and as you can see from today's Blip, there's no such thing as a featureless walk (though today's extra was a more typical view!)

Tomorrow sees us climbing more mesas and wandering further flatlands to Castrojeriz.
