Missing the sunrises...

I'm sure you've all been missing the winter-sunrises-from-our-balcony pictures. We had the first proper such sunrise of the year today - a signal that the nights are getting longer, the days shorter, and the sun rising further round towards the north east.

I was up betimes, in order to toddle over to BBC Radio Scotland (I cycled, having turned down the offer of a taxi) for an interview on BBC Radio Scotland, which I see they later turned into a wee article on the website. Ah, the benefits of speaking (mostly) in sentences when on air. They missed my best line out, though, the one about it not being a Great Repeal Bill, but rather a Great Enactment Act, as it will involve loads of EU law landing in UK law, before we properly "take back control"....Duh.

Back home, we are on the last leg of the Great Shower Rebuild, and the plumber kindly spent 10 minutes regrouting the tiles in our other shower, before they become an issue. I spent the day interspersing lively activity on the keyboard making decent progress on a new paper to be written, and various domestic chores, including finishing the ironing and washing the windows. Now we can properly see that the balcony is more or less empty. Now all we have to do is to fill it with art.
