Menorca Day 4: Cap de Ses Penyes Cave
More sheltered in large.
Back blip
We went over to Son Bou to see the Palaeochristian Basilica; it was behind a wall and a locked gate, so we didn't get as close as hoped. It was a beautifully bright and sunny day, and we had a rather adventurous walk on our way over to the beach at Cala Llucalari: we missed the easy route, found ourselves at a cliff (dead end) over a sheltered cove with a cave (*blip*), and ended up scrambling over a rather precipitous ridge (with amazing views of the sea and shore and Son Bou), before finding ourselves directly above the beach. There were so many dragonflies: the sky was abuzz with them, and many were perching on branches (exhibit B), and I've never seen so many in one place.
We found the right path (Cami de Cavalls) which took us to Cala Llucalari.
