A Rather Unusual Plant..............

..........................I haven't seen one of these before (though that's nothing new!). The owner of the garden said she was given three by a friend and told they were Pineapple Plants. I have looked in my R.H.S. book but can't find anything that is exactly like it. Looks rather tropical and as if it should be in a greenhouse but it seems quite happy in the open garden. Never mind, it is a bit different.
