The weeping window in Perth

The Black Watch museum hosted this amazing display. Very moving poppies flowing like blood.

I headed up for the opening time of 10.00. The sun was slowly starting to light up some of the flowers, but it meant a difficult exposure time and aperture choice. I headed in for a cuppa and a poppy shortbread. When I came back out, Stuart Niven my neighbour and award winning photographer had his tripod set up and was busy clicking away. There is no doubt that his effort will outstrip mine, but at least I tried.
