Shopping in Lazdijai

There was a time when we did our shopping here more frequently. Changing fortunes have caused that shop prices are a bit lower in Poland at the moment, so the traffic is generally in the other direction. Nevertheless we bought some salami, some fresh ginger, chillis and a remote control helicopter, as you do. Looking at this sign having completed our purchases, I was surprised we ever got into the supermarket:)

The helicopter inevitably got stuck at the top of a birch tree in the dark, its lights flashing until the battery went flat accompanied by the occasional Perseid. This morning it was rescued by means of a 7m stick.
