What can you tell from the books in the bookcase?

I pulled an a.m. homes off the shelf which I don't think I've read and asked if she'd read it. She thought so, but added wryly "if it had been good it would have been lent to someone by now."

She has a point. Good books have a way of disappearing, but there are still some great ones here. And so much more interesting than a list on the kindle.
