Oyster Mushrooms

After looking up Google that's what I think they are .... but then again they might be something else altogether.   There is one very tall tree just near the river car park in Pollok Park that has clumps of these shiny white fungi growing right up to the top of the tree trunk.

Patchwork class tonight so as usual I am trying to find all the bits and pieces that I need, but no matter how organised I think I am there is always something missing from my bag.
