Millenium Tapestry .

Visit to Maldon Essex - saw Thames barges ( see extra) , After dinner went to heritage centre in the town and saw this  Tapestry celebrating a 1000years of  the town's history 991-1991.
 This blip is of the Battle of Maldon  -the local Anglo Saxons lost to  the raiding  Vikings .
A glorious defeat .
