Varenna

Our last day before travelling to Rome on the train. We take a boat over to Menaggio, later returning to Lenno by bus. I think Varenna is one of the villages with the more picturesque lake fronts as seen from the lake itself.

A small village, it is very popular for weddings. They take place at the church where there is the steeple. The are lots pf picturesque and photogenic places around the village for the wedding photographers.
