teasels

I escaped the confinement of the loft and we headed to Silverdale. First to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve where we tried, but failed, to spot the bearded tits. After coffee and cake (one piece would have been enough for us to share) it was a very short drive to Eaves Wood where we walked up to 'the Pepperpot' and enjoyed our packed lunch in the sunshine overlooking Morecambe Bay.

These teasels were at the back of the visitor centre. In extras there's a mono of hopeful 'twitchers'.
