Monoculture

After my Pilates class and a bit of work, I went up to the local Common to see if I could find any Fly Agaric. Sadly, most had gone over, but this one and its small friend were just pushing though. The area I looked in was exclusively birch woodland, and there were huge numbers of Grisettes, both ordinary (vaginata) and Tawny (fulva). and very little else.
