Drying

Today I resumed my strolls around the pond near home, in the river's flood area. We were promised a sunny day, but the sun sure took it's time to arrive. Fortunately it did manage to chase away most of the clouds.

The water levels, both in the pond and in the river are very low at the moment. I had not realized we've had so little water lately. I can't remember ever having it seen so low (see the extras). Ah well, it will fill up soon enough when autumn sets in. For now I'm very happy to have this dry weather.
