Seat Sandal and Grisedale Tarn

A few days off, so an early start on a walk to get a couple of new Wainwrights, Stone Arthur and Seat Sandal, taking my total up to 186. The walk started at Grasmere with an ascent of Stone Arthur, then over Great Rigg and Fairfield before dropping back down and up over Seat Sandal. A glorious walking day, with temperatures just about perfect. The skies were pretty good for photography too. This shot is a 5- shot panorama, with Seat Sandal on the left, Grisedale Tarn in the middle and Dollywagen Pike on the right; The extreme right shows a craggy ridge in shadow - that is the rather wonderful striding edge.
