On the way home from Manchester

I opted to drive across the Pennines this morning and to catch the train in Dinting.  I set off in fog which fortunately cleared as I descended over the other side. But a lovely drive back - I managed to stop at Crowden and take a few photos, probably not the best viewpoint but perhaps conveys some impression of what a lovely drive home it was.

Disaster in the studio - that collograph plate is certainly determined not to print!
