Free Range

At last I have managed to re home the last of my hens to a lovely little holding in the countryside. The couple have already taken 8 of the hens and I was going to be left with one large black bantam cross but with very little persuasion they agreed to take it when I met them at church on Sunday.

I arrived this afternoon and the place was deserted but I found the pen where  the 8 Black Rocks had been introduced to some others and infiltrated the new arrival and while I diverted the attention of the rest with some pieces of bread it scurried off and was soon scraping in the earth.

The occupants of another pen came running when they saw me - no doubt wanting bread so I blipped them!
