Love the colours

I think the sun's been out today and yesterday, but I keep missing it. I really like autumn but I haven't yet submitted to it. I am ignoring the tell-tale signs that it is really and truly already here.

There are apples on the ground under the apple tree and I'm scooping leaves out of the pond. Scarves have appeared and coats are on chairs. It's undoubtedly chilly!

But the heating is not on. The socks are not on. YET.
