Stream
Stream of consciousness. An approach that gets you to download thoughts by writing anything you feel you need to through any sort of literary diarrhoea or goobledegook. Done soon after waking to prepare you for the day and improve focus. I tried it a few times on holiday and I think it must have helped me relax. A tip from the ever-wonderful Ruby.
Periodically you can review your thoughts to identify commonalities and then work out ways of addressing anything that crops up (the hard bit).
