Road closed

So, Wooler High Street is closed for the next 4 weeks for 'footway resurfacing', causing a certain amount of chaos and difficulty in parking. Possibly it's just a cunning plan to use as many orange barriers as possible, to keep the manufacturer in business!

MrM went to a friend's to play some jazz this evening, while I spent a jolly few hours applying the first coat of paint to the woodwork in the bathroom (only 11 months late!). Just 3 more coats to go - oh joy...
