Chocolate Monkey Cake

Won at a Guides' summer fate (sic)...

The fete helped the local Guides with their fundraising project this year which was supporting the Association of Young People with ME (AYME). The monkey cake represents their sock monkey making project - sending their home-made sock monkeys* to all children in AYME suffering from M.E.


*not these ones, these were test monkeys made with my own smelly worn-out socks. You'll be glad to know all charity sock monkeys had to be made with brand-new socks...
