Ferragosto

For the past six years I have travelled to Sydney to visit this special fair day and celebration with my family.

The suburb has many Italian inhabitants and they always have so much fun.

The weather in Sydney over the past few days has been very windy and unpleasant. Today was a better day but the celebrations were not as good as they usually are. There were less stall holders and far too many fast food stalls. Maybe it is the economy or maybe it was the weather.

I spent no money other than buying my two grandchildren a show bag each.

We did have a lovely time together though and the grandchildren always have fun no matter what!!.
