International Space Station.
I decided to try to photograph the ISS through my telescope when it passed over Edinburgh this evening. I know this picture doesn't look like much, but it's not that easy to photograph a target moving at 17,000 mph through a telescope! I'm just so pleased to have caught a little bit of definition that this shot had to be my blip! You can see the shape of the central module and the solar panels on either side. This is a single shot taken EP projection with my canon 500d, hyperion zoom lens at 24mm and 8" dobsonian telescope. Tracking was done manually through the finderscope.
