Nyam Nyam!

Today has been a very sociable day, which combined with lovely weather makes it a lovely day! After coffee this morning on Royal Exchange Square with some old friends from uni, the evening was a party with friends who are known for their fantastic food, hence this blip. The usual components were there - great food, a nice glass of wine, lots of laughter and a little bit of politics and world-to-rights-setting. It was a fairly late night though, hence the late blip, and I've back blipped Friday too. I was again watching the Olympics, hence the lack of Friday blip on time.

Hard to believe it'll all be over so soon, though with just a wee break until the Paralympics start to comfort us. I am currently watching an extremely exciting volleyball final, which Russia looked to be completely out of after going down 2 sets to love to Brazil, but now are leading in the 5th :) Can't believe I am enjoying watching volleyball, after being completely put off it by a PE teacher in school! Random fact from the commentary - did you know that more people play volleyball in Brazil than football? I didn't!
