Turbary Woods....

Owl and Bird of Prey Sanctuary, behind the Duxbury Garden Center.  Ro, his cousin and I ll went to see the birds.  A couple had chosen to have a full experience of flying the birds and we watched for 1.5 hours then they let the three of us have a quick go!  It was wonderful!  The volunteers who run the Sanctuary are really nice and the birds lovely, not as heavy as they look!!  (it's only £3 for OAPs!)

Then frozen we had lunch in the garden center which was so very welcome!!  The Hot chocolate was the icing on the cake!!
