Sagres

This morning we drove to Cabo de Sao Vicente, the most south-westerly tip of Europe. There was lots of sea mist when we arrived but it was great to sit and watch the sun break through and the mist burn away. We walked along the cliffs and went to the lighthouse. Then we went to the Fortaleza de Sagres, an 18th century fort standing on the edge of the cliffs. There was lots to see including a giant wind compass and a some amazing views!

We're back at the villa now and chilling around the pool before getting ready to go out for dinner.
