An alien landscape

This dramatic view is the one enjoyed from the balcony of our room.  it is a shame that we can't quite see the sun as it sets but the light is still dramatic.  We first visited this island some ten years ago and today the colours and shapes of this volcanic landscape astonish us a much today as they did then.
The overcast skies and intermittent rain continued today but there is the promise of sunshine tomorrow.

Blipping 2 days, still a day behind as there are the usual difficulties with the internet!
