See-through shadows

I keep thinking I must have reached the end of the shadows and I keep being given just one more chance. This low sun is quite magical.

I was on an awayday today, talking about a recent evaluation of our work and how we want to take things forward. We split into two groups to discuss the many recommendations and, unprecedented in all my years of employment, the two groups not only approached the questions in the same way but came up with almost identical priorities. It's extraordinarily heartening to discover that all your colleagues want to pull in the same direction.
