Not Too Conventional?

A day (of work) out together. We were both attending an internal IT convention at the Stoneleigh Park (previously known as the National Agricultural Centre). Having set the blip changes in motion this morning, it was nice to be able to commute somewhere together for once.

It was a surprisingly inspiring day - these things can be very dry and this day entirely wasn't. It was much more relaxing for Annie once she'd got her session of public speaking out of the way.

We came back home down the M40 but took a slight diversion to photograph Trow Pool water tower near Bucknall. It's a distinctive landmark to anyone who regular travels up and down the M40 through the Bicester junction but until today we didin't know what it actually was (or how to get close to it). Lovely late afternoon light too.
