Time Flies

Somewhat unexpectedly, we didn't see my (Chris') daughters today. A late arrival home from their holiday away with their mum and stepdad put paid to today's visit. As a result, we've had a pretty quiet day. A bit of house tidying, some study for Annie and a chance to catch the last few events from the Olympics.

In the garden, there was a full range of wildlife on show today. The blip was a particularly patient subject, even allowing me time to fetch my tripod for a chance to grab this shot.
