Bromiliade

After work I went out to "batten down" the hatches before Hurricane Matthew came into town, moving all my plants to safe places, taking down all the wind chimes and any plants hanging in the trees, bird feeders, etc. all safely tucked in places where the wind won't get them and turn them into  missiles.   They may drown but they won't get thrown around.  The bromiliades were in full bloom and thought I'd take a few shots (side) before the wind got hold of them.
