Espressini

An early morning (for me) cheeky with Clare presented this - Alex photographing coffee beans! Espressini is staffed by various artistic types, their talent mostly wasted on me but I do appreciate their barista skills!

I *may* have taken Clare interview outfit shopping after. Not that I have an interview yet but a late night email from one of the accountancy forms I've contacted has me going for a 'chat' on Friday. The glass is returned to half full!

Work at the Arq, my boss is hoping that I will be a rubbish accountant and will return to him and looking after children. He too is an optimist :-D

Tea turned into a fiasco. Having left careful instructions for the big 2 to cook a roast, they both stayed at school too late to get it cooked in time for them to go to Sea Scouts.

Finally Bakeoff. I wasn't convinced by any of it tonight. I've made roulades in the past but it just seems like too much faff. I don't like nuts so the nutty thing didn't appeal and the showstoppers left me cold - I like a proper stodgy, substantial cake/pudding. So there you go.
