Our Greatest Team

I genuinely did not expect to enjoy the games this much! It has been such a great couple of weeks and Team GB were outstanding. It was the stuff of dreams.

The moments that stood out for me were the men's gymnasts winning their team bronze, standing on the podium in shock, gaping at the crowd and their medals.

But Tom Daley's bronze last night was my favourite moment. His huge smile as he got out of the pool after that last dive and his team mates dunking him into the pool and seeing him step onto the podium, it was wonderful! He's such a lovely person and I can't think of anyone more deserving of the goodwill the entire country sends his way. Amongst the shining sea of gold medals Britain has won, his bronze sparkles, against all odds, and I think he personified what the Olympics is really about.
