Tickets
After an momentous day, the morning spent watching the Women's Marathon with Karen and Katie outside Buckingham Palace, then a client photo shoot in St James park in which I captured some of my favourite ever images (I find myself saying that a lot of late. I must be getting better at it), then a rush to Covent Garden to pick up tickets from a friend of our next door neighbour's in LA, whom we met for 5 minutes flat to grab a photo (Karen had returned just in case I didn't get the message we had tickets, bless her!), then a rush to the Olympic Park to watch the water polo. On reflection, I wish we'd just walked around the park a bit more to soak up the atmosphere. It was like a sweaty sauna in there and the sport is so bizarre to watch, however, we caught the Team GB game. We sat by the stadium listening to the crowds during the biggest ever Olympic TV moment, the 100m final, watching it simultaneously on the iPad. We were there. One amazing day.
