Thorny issue

Went to get my tyres checked after 6500 km road trip, and found a two inch thorn, hard as steel, embedded in my off side front tyre. Must be the same kind of thorn I trod on which penetrated the sole of my industrial DMs. Nature has no shortage of nasty surprises for the unwary.
